Retired Blog
Those of you who keep checking for my latest post, thanks for checking and I'm sorry there hasn't been anything new. This blog was really for my Puebla trip. Now that the trip is over, there hasn't been much to say.
I'm thinking about writing another blog. I haven't yet decided on a topic or theme. Maybe something about golf, maybe a school counseling blog, maybe some of my photos or some of my writing. I haven't decided.
Anyway, thanks for reading this blog. I hope to blog again in the future.

Hello, my name is Meagan, and I'm looking into going to SI Puebla in the fall and found your blog while searching for reviews of the Institute. I've really enjoyed reading your blog entries (I've spent a couple of months in Cordoba, Veracruz - about 2 hours away from Puebla) and I could really relate to your stories. I love Mexico and am bound and determined to learn Spanish in the next year or two. I am just wondering, do you have any advice about choosing a language school? Did you feel like your time in Puebla was worth the money? Any input you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Muchas gracias!
Chris, It's MJ from the Goosepath. You posted a comment recently on my blog. (I blogged about your story, 500 things.) I found Puebla Bound and really enjoyed reading some of your posts. Have you seen this?

It's pretty funny.
I loved the human perspective you gave about your trip.... the walking, the routine of seeing people the family meals... the contrast between living alone and being a part of that family. By all means start another blog! I want to know more about your simple lifestyle, and how that is working out for you. I looked at your flickr pictures also. Once I saw how nice it is laid out, and how you can put descriptions and such, it inspired me to put up a few photos of my own that have sat unappreciated on my hard drive. I was timid about putting stuff out there. But I took the time to see how it works, then linked it to my blog. It felt good to do that.
Anyhow, take care. MJ.
